About me
Driven by a deep curiosity about how language shapes our world, I study the dynamic interaction between language, cognition, and communication. My primary focus is connecting linguistic research with practical applications for effective communication.
Beyond academia, I find joy in the small things that inspire connection: sharing tea with friends and family, strategizing over a good board game, or observing the world alongside my two cats, Winnie and Fiore. These moments remind me of the simple yet profound ways we connect with each other and the world around us.
I enjoy the balance between distraction and concentration, whether solving a pen-and-paper Sudoku puzzle or immersing myself in a Mahjong solitaire game. I am fascinated by labyrinths, both for their fantastical symbolism and their connection to the complexities of the human mind. This fascination inspires me and fuels my research approach, navigating the intricate pathways of language and cognition and seeking to unravel the complexities of human communication.
